"There's No One as Irish as Barack Obama"

Thank you, Sherwood, for this joyful Irish ditty posted on yer blog this ayem. In the grand tradition of the Dwyers (whose name variously means "tribe of the horse gatherers"), I'm pinching it for Xtreme English. This one's for all my relatives & friends, who of course include Carroll, Flanigan, O'Connor, Feeney, Kinsella, and Brush (ye ARE Irish, are ye not, Juana?). If I've missed anyone, tsk:

  2. Yes, marvelous. And remember I was the first one who said it: Barack O'bama. And I had to tell my students that it was a spelling error! Now I can tell 'em it was da simple truth.

Oh, my second CI failed to produce sound, so electrodes were re-implanted 2 weeks ago.
    Activation is on Tuesday.

  7. HAH! I'm tickled that you "pinched" something from my humble screed for inclusion in Xtreme English... especially since I pinched it from Ft. Harrington's special friend, Lucile, who, in turn, filched it from God-knows-where. (The venue where this particular version of the pub song was recorded was the Plough and Stars in Berkeley, California. Love those damn' hippie socialist libruls, eh?)
