ReplyDeleteLP: He's sheriff in Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix. Lots of retired folks there, planting grass that needs watering (in a state where the rivers are running dry), scared of their own shadows. Not much EQ.
ReplyDeleteI hate that part of the world. I've been there twice, once recently, and I asked myself who in their right mind would live in such a god-forsaken place. The only state I've been that I thought was worse was Florida. You have to have a real gift for ingoring the realities of life in those places to enjoy being in them.
